Quality Control
China Loong Wind Power Co., Ltd. applies structured quality control throughout material sourcing, manufacturing, assembly, testing, packaging, and shipment. Our procedures are designed to support consistent quality across complete wind turbine units, generators, controllers, inverters, towers, mechanical parts, auxiliary equipment, wind-solar hybrid systems, and customized wind power solutions. Inspection requirements are defined according to product specifications, order requirements, and industry-aligned practices.
1. Incoming Material Inspection
Incoming materials and purchased components are checked before they are released for production. Inspection scope and sampling methods are determined by the component type, technical requirements, and intended application.
- Material verification: Materials and components are reviewed against purchase documents, drawings, specifications, and approved samples where applicable.
- Dimensional inspection: Critical dimensions, interfaces, mounting points, and tolerances are checked using suitable measuring equipment.
- Visual examination: Surfaces are inspected for damage, corrosion, deformation, contamination, coating defects, and other visible inconsistencies.
- Electrical component checks: Generators, cables, connectors, controllers, inverters, and related parts may be checked for identification, compatibility, electrical parameters, and workmanship, subject to product requirements.
- Nonconforming material control: Materials that do not meet internal acceptance criteria are identified and separated for evaluation and appropriate disposition.
2. In-Process Quality Control
Quality checks are incorporated into key production and assembly stages to identify issues before they affect the finished product. Work instructions, technical drawings, and order-specific requirements provide the basis for process control.
- Mechanical assembly: Component fit, alignment, fastening, torque requirements, bearing installation, and rotating-part clearance are checked where relevant.
- Electrical assembly: Wiring routes, terminal connections, polarity, insulation, grounding provisions, and connector installation are reviewed according to the applicable design.
- Fabrication and surface treatment: Welded structures, towers, mounting fittings, housings, and mechanical parts are examined for workmanship, dimensions, and coating condition.
- Configuration control: Controllers, inverters, protection devices, and system components are checked to confirm that the selected configuration corresponds to the order and intended operating conditions.
- Process records: Inspection results and identified deviations are documented as appropriate to support traceability and follow-up.
3. Finished Product Inspection
Finished products undergo inspection before approval for packing. The inspection plan varies by product type and may include visual, dimensional, mechanical, electrical, and functional checks. For integrated wind power generation systems and wind-solar hybrid systems, component compatibility and system configuration are also reviewed.
- Appearance and workmanship: Products are checked for assembly quality, surface finish, labeling, cleanliness, and visible damage.
- Dimensions and interfaces: Key dimensions, mounting arrangements, flange patterns, cable interfaces, and connection points are verified where applicable.
- Mechanical checks: Rotating components, fasteners, brakes, yaw-related parts, blades, hubs, and support structures are examined according to the product design.
- Electrical and functional checks: Relevant products may be evaluated for output characteristics, control response, protection functions, display or communication functions, and basic operating performance, subject to specifications and available test conditions.
- Order conformity: Model, quantity, accessories, documentation, voltage configuration, and other customer-defined requirements are reviewed against the confirmed order.
4. Packaging and Pre-Shipment Check
Packaging is selected with consideration for product size, weight, sensitivity, handling requirements, and transportation method. Wind generators, control equipment, inverters, mechanical components, towers, and complete systems may require different protection and securing methods.
- Product protection: Suitable measures are used to help protect surfaces, electrical interfaces, rotating parts, and precision components from moisture, impact, movement, and contamination during normal transport.
- Internal securing: Products and accessories are positioned and secured to reduce movement inside the package.
- Package identification: Labels, model information, quantities, handling marks, and shipping references are checked against order and logistics documents.
- Accessory verification: Specified cables, mounting hardware, fittings, manuals, and other included items are counted and confirmed before closure.
- Final shipment review: Packaging condition, package count, product configuration, and shipping information are reviewed before release.
5. Feedback, Corrective Action, and Continuous Improvement
China Loong Wind Power Co., Ltd. treats quality control as an ongoing process. Feedback from inspection, production, installation, commissioning, and customer use is reviewed to identify possible causes and improvement opportunities. When a quality concern is reported, relevant product information, operating conditions, photographs, test data, and order records may be requested to support an effective technical review.
Based on the findings, appropriate actions may include material reassessment, process adjustment, additional inspection, design clarification, supplier communication, or updates to work and inspection instructions. This approach helps us improve product consistency and provide practical support for international distributors, project contractors, system integrators, and other B2B customers.
